Boots summer campaign

This was a project set by Jupiter Design to promote Boots summer products.  The campaign is inspired by the humorous British postcards of Donald McGill and Alfred Lees. The original image was first made into a postcard and then photographed on a background of sand, along with a suncare product layed on top. The postcard was made more authentic by distressing the edges and surface.
Potential window displays, in-store displays and ambient displays.  Expanding the theme of hide and seek. The display area in the window is filled with inflatable beach balls featuring the Boots blue. The middle row has the copy ‘Don’t hide from the sun!’ printed on the balls, one word on each. The second part of the copy is a window vinyl. The characters are cardboard cutouts.
The simpler window display uses only free standing cardboard cutouts and the copy could either be a window vinyl or a hanging sign.
The free standing cardboard cutouts would be arranged in a hide and seek scenario in store and could also be used in public spaces such as the beach or a park.
